Angela, M. Hill, Pharm.D., CPh

Keynote Speaker

Associate Dean of Clinical Practice, Professor & Chair of Pharmacotherapeutics, University of South Florida College of Pharmacy

Angela M. Hill. Pharm.D., CPh is a mother, wife, pharmacist, professor, administrator, and entrepreneur. She received her pharmacy education from Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy, and has spent her pharmacy career specializing in geriatrics, and specialty areas such as neurology, psychiatry, and alternative medicine.

She is currently the founding Chair and Professor of the Department of Pharmacotherapeutics and Clinical Research, and Associate Dean of Clinical Practice at the University of South Florida College of Pharmacy. She has pursued business adventures as a pharmacy consultant, florist, gamer, in real estate, travel, and is currently an independent consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics, Inc. Dr. Hill believes in creating multiple streams of income and maximizing your potential using your God given talents, networking, collaborating, and giving to others. Dr. Hill is a woman of strong faith, and lives on the biblical verses Phillipians 4:13 which states that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” and Luke 12:48 which states that “For unto whom so much is given, of him shall be much required.”

She is a member of numerous pharmacy organizations, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, Carmel Friendship Baptist Church, and serves on several community boards while managing marriage, motherhood, and making a living. She believes wholeheartedly that women have to be conscious of achieving work-life balance and living in the moment because of all of the demands on their time, by working hard, playing hard, and not apologizing!

Veronica Blakely Ed.S

Veronica Blakely is a native of Tampa, Florida where she is an educator, community volunteer, and former corporate manager.  While opportunities gained in the business sector enriched her life, she considers being a teacher the most important, challenging, and rewarding experience of her career.  The idea of transforming a person’s mind from, “I can’t” to “I can,” is a very humbling and rewarding experience.

In addition to Veronica’s many talents, she was a movie extra in Ocean’s Eleven which was filmed in St. Petersburg, FL.  She is also a former NFL cheerleader for the Tampa Bay Bucs and for the WFL (World Football League) Tampa Bay Bandits.  Veronica has performed in several local plays and she has produced and directed numerous Gospel Productions in Tampa.  Veronica is a former President and Area Governor of a Toastmaster’s International Public Speaking club.

As a community volunteer, Veronica has been the workshop facilitator and Board Member for the Tampa Organization of Black Affairs Youth Oratorical Scholarship Contest, Loaned Executive for the United Way, Co-Chair/Program Manager for the MLK, Jr. Breakfast and NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet, and Co-Host with local TV News Anchors for community events. Veronica was also the Host for The Soledad O’Brien Starfish Foundation PowHERful Summit in Tampa, FL.

Bria Sullivan, CPC, ELI-MP

Bria Sullivan, CPC, ELI-MP is the founder of B. Sulli Coaching. A Certified Professional Coach, Bria’s focus and passion is to work with women who’ve enjoyed success, but are longing for a greater sense of fulfillment in their lives. She has partnered with clients in varying professions and phases of life using her Clarity & Purpose model to help them discover/reaffirm their authentic self. From there, she coaches and holds clients accountable to develop strategies to help them create a life they love.

Bria received her certification from the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), an accredited Life Coaching program, receiving over 340 hours of hands-on training. Bria also received a Bachelors in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration (BBA) and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. She has over 16 years of HR leadership experience with Fortune 50 companies such as Amazon.com and Nestle Waters North America.

While in corporate America, Bria was able to marry her interest in branding and marketing with her robust HR experience to create training and conduct 1:1 mentoring sessions for individuals and teams about the importance of cultivating their personal and professional brand. Now, as a Clarity and Purpose Coach, she is uniquely positioned to utilize all of these experiences to help clients live authentically and show up powerfully and purposefully in every aspect of their lives!

R. Colette Glover-Hannah

Colette Glover-Hannah is the Founder/CEO of Hannah’s Shoebox, an online shoe store that provides a solution for families looking for age-appropriate shoes for tween girls who wear women size shoes. The shoe store is also an award-winning company that instills self-esteem and confidence in girls by offering the footwear styles they want, in the sizes they need. In addition to online sales, Hannah’s Shoebox is also an official school shoe provider for private and public schools as well a partner to organizations and associations that purchase shoes for children. Hannah’s Shoebox has been recognized by among others, the Centre for Women in Business, Tampa Bay Minority Enterprise Development Week and 1Million Cups-Tampa. The company was also selected to participate in the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Startup Scholars program, and is a finalist for the Chamber’s Small Business of the Year. Hannah’s Shoebox is currently a participant in the Community Incubator of the University of Tampa’s John P. Lowth Center for Entrepreneurship, and is a certified business with the City of Tampa, Hillsborough County, Hillsborough County Public Schools and an ASO provider for the Hillsborough County Children’s Board.

In addition to serving as CEO of Hannah’s Shoebox, Colette is also co-author of Mompreneur: Managing, Presentations, Parenthood and Partnerships, which examines the art of attempting to balance the simultaneous demands of family, motherhood and entrepreneurship.

Before creating Hannah’s Shoebox, Colette was an Associate Vice President for Community Relations at the University of South Florida, where she created many sustainable relationships and programs throughout communities in the Tampa Bay region. Her most notable program was the creation of Bulls Country, which became one of the institution’s most visible marketing campaigns.

Colette earned a Bachelor’s degree from Florida A&M University and her Masters from the University of South Florida. She is a member of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Tampa Chamber’s Women of Influence Committee; The Centre for Women in Business Advisory Council; Tampa Bay Committee of the Akilah Institute for Women in Kigali, Rwanda and the Executive Board of Black Women Business Owners, Executives and Entrepreneurs. A former federal judicial law clerk, Monica Williams Harris is currently an attorney with the national labor and employment law firm Jackson Lewis, P.C.  Her practice includes defending and advising corporations in employment related disputes in federal and state courts and before local, state and federal government agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.  Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida as well as Federal District Courts in the state of Florida, Ms. Harris has been recognized as a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine for six consecutive years.

 

Ms. Harris is a 1998 graduate of the School of Business and Industry at Florida A&M University and a 2001 graduate of University of Florida’s Levin College of Law, Ms. Harris is active in both the local and state bar associations.  She is a former Vice President of the George Edgecomb Bar Association and the Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter National Bar Association, a state affiliate chapter of the National Bar Association.  In 2013, she was appointed to serve on the Florida Supreme Court’s Standing Committee on Diversity and Fairness, a committee appointment she currently holds.  She also sits on the Board of the Florida A&M University Foundation.

 

A dynamic, energetic and entertaining public speaker, Ms. Harris enjoys mentoring and encouraging young people to reach their highest potential. Living by the Biblical principle, “to whom much is given much is required,” Ms. Harris is very active in the Tampa Community.  She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and the Tampa Chapter of The Links, Incorporated.  She is also a member of Love First Christian Center.   Ms. Harris is married to Keith W. Harris and is the proud mother of Miles William-Anthony and bonus mom to Alicia, Krista and Camryn.

Joli Cooper Nelson

Joli Cooper-Nelson is honored to serve as the 25th National President of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated. As a member of the Greater Tampa Chapter in the Southeastern Region, she previously served as National Vice President, Regional Director, Regional Secretary-Treasurer and two-term Regional Program Chair.  She also serves on the board of trustees of the Jack and Jill of America Foundation, the organization’s philanthropic arm.

 

Professionally, Ms. Cooper is a founding member of CSW Private Equity Investments, LLC., a New York based private equity firm.  With more than 30 years of domestic and international marketing and general management experience, Ms. Cooper has worked at numerous world-class consumer products companies, including Nestle, Tropicana and Seagram.

Ms. Cooper began her professional career on Wall Street and transitioned into the consumer products industry as an associate brand manager at Nestle. Having held positions of increasing responsibility throughout her career, she has launched new products in Latin America, led global marketing initiatives in the United Kingdom and was named President and Chief Operating Officer of Pasco Brands, once the largest private label juice beverage company in the United States.

Recipient of the 2002 Wharton Alumnae of the Year Award, Ms. Cooper is committed to her community, serving on several nonprofit boards including United Way of Tampa Bay; The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce; Junior Achievement and The Children’s Home to name a few.  Today, she serves on the board of trustees for Academy Prep Center of Tampa and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.

Ms. Cooper holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.   She and her husband Anthony Nelson are the proud parents of Ashley (University of Notre
Dame ‘11); Alana (Florida State University ’20) and Anthony, Jr. (Harvard University ’22)

Clemmie C. Perry

Clemmie Perry is the Founder and  Executive Director of Women of Color Golf (WOCG), and Girls On the Green Tee  (GOTG-T). The mission of WOCG &  GOTG-T is to promote and facilitate the  inclusion of minority women and girls into  the game of golf. WOCG seeks to create a  spark of interest and inspiration in the game of golf. This inspiration is then turned into action with organized golf clinics, recreational golf events, business networking & mentoring opportunities. WOCG started in 2014, and has introduced over 400  minority women & girls to the fundamentals of golf in the Tampa & St. Petersburg, Florida bay area and Washington, D.C.

Women of Color Golf (WOCG) and Girls on the Green Tee (GOTG-T) programs have grown into a nationally recognized community-based organization, with recent  recognition by former President Barack Obama, as a U.S. White House Champion of Change for After School Programs for Marginalized Girls.

WOCG has been featured in Forbes, Ebony, Black Enterprise, Golf for Her, Professional Golf Association (PGA) magazine, the African American Golfer’s Digest, Onyx Magazine – Women on the Move, Bay News 9, The Tampa Bay Community Network Sports TV, Tee Time Florida TV and several other local media broadcasts. The Women of Color Golf (WOCG), is also a recipient of the Tampa Bay Lightning Community Hero Award.

Clemmie Perry has over 20 years’ experience working for two Fortune 500 companies (Lockheed Martin Corporation and Florida Power & Light Company). At Lockheed Martin Corporation, Ms. Perry served as the Corporate E-Learning Training Manager. She was responsible for managing virtual learning teams and developing online corporate training materials for 130,000 Aerospace & Defense employees. At Florida Power & Light Company in Miami, she was responsible for electrical distribution systems training and the implementation of smart grid & smart meter technology training programs.

Clemmie earned her B.S. degree from Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, Florida and an M.S. from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

She is a member of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), Florida A&M University (FAMU) Alumni Association, National Football League (NFL) Cheerleader Alumni Association and LPGA – Women Who Play. She currently serves on the World Golf Foundation Diversity & Inclusion 2020 Task Force, the Women’s Golf Task Force and is a Board Member for the Florida Sports Hall of Fame (FSHOF).
